rain leads to storm tunnel explosion in Calumet City. Heavy rains May 11
overwhelmed the Deep Tunnel stormwater system in Calumet City, building up
pressure in a sewer tunnel causing an underground hydraulic explosion that created
a sink hole. The storms also caused streets to flood, knocked out power to
nearly 9,000 ComEd customers, and prompted airlines at O’Hare International

on test day. A Canadian teenager was arrested May 8 by the Ottawa Police

charges of insider trading ahead of sale. Three software company founders
agreed to pay nearly $5.8 million May 12 to settle charges filed by the U.S.
Securities and Exchange Commission accusing the individuals of taking advantage
of incorrect media speculation and analyst reports regarding the company’s,
Lawson Software, acquisition. The commission reported the Lawson Software’s
co-chairman informed two others with nonpublic information about the status of
the company’s 2011 merger discussion with Infor Global Solutions, while stock

12, KPRC 2 Houston – (Texas) California man pleads guilty to
Houston credit card skimming. One member of a group made up of at least
five individuals from Texas to California pleaded guilty May 12 to charges
after being arrested in 2011 in connection to a credit card skimming ring that
netted 38,000 credit card numbers from gas stations in the Houston and Dallas
