Forrest City’s storm warning system is currently out of service due to a change in a radio frequency. The system’s problems stem from a recent move changing the city’s bandwidth to meet Federal Communications Commission guidelines and could cost $850 for each of the five sirens if the radio, which activates the sirens, is deemed to be source of the problem.
