climate, clean energy, and environment partnership. The Canadian prime
minister, U.S. President, and president of Mexico announced June 29 that they
share a commitment to a competitive, low-carbon, and sustainable North American
economy and society, and strive to achieve 50 percent clean power generation by
2025. The plan to achieve the goal of clean power will be accomplished through
collaborating on cross-border transmission projects, enhancing trilateral
collaboration on greening of government initiatives, and strengthening and
aligning efficiency standards across all three countries, among a range of

U.S. Food and Drug Administration – (National) Raw dough’s a raw
deal and could make you sick. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s Center
for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition warned consumers June 29 against eating
raw dough and batter after Federal testing confirmed that dozens of people
across the country were sickened by a strain of Shiga toxin-producing E.coli
O121 after consuming or handling raw dough made with General Mills, Inc.,
unbleached, all-purpose, and self-rising flours. General Mills recalled 10
million pounds of its flour products sold under 3 brand names due to the
bacterial contamination.
• California crews reached 12 percent containment June 29 of the
1,000-acre Trailhead Fire which threatens 2,600 structures. – KCRA 3

KCRA 3 Sacramento – (California) More than 2,000 structures threatened by
Foresthill wildfire. Crews reached 12 percent containment June 29 of the
Trailhead Fire which has burned 1,000 acres near Foresthill, California, and
threatens 2,600 structures. Mandatory evacuations were issued for several areas

SecurityWeek – (National) Noodles & Company confirms payment card
breach. Noodles & Company reported June 28 that its computer systems
were breached and that its customers’ information may have been stolen after a
June 2 investigation revealed a piece of malware was affecting its systems at
more than 500 locations. Officials believe cyber criminals may have been using
the malware to steal customers’ credit and debit card information since January

Associated Press; Laramie Boomerang – (Colorado; Wyoming) 6 arrested
in fast-food credit card scheme in northern Colorado. Six New York
residents were arrested and indicted June 15 for allegedly using fraudulent
credit cards to purchase more than $10,000 worth of gift cards at McDonald’s
Corp., restaurants and other fast-food chain restaurants in Wyoming and
Colorado. Authorities confiscated over 1,000 gift cards, a credit card reader,
and a machine used for printing credit cards during the groups’ arrest. Source:

Softpedia – (International) Google adds SEO spam notifications to Google
analytics dashboard. Google reported that it will be enhancing its security
notifications for compromised Web sites by integrating the Safe Browsing
application programming interface (API) into the Google Analytics dashboard,
which will help detect malware and warn the Webmaster of a search engine

Softpedia – (International) Android ransomware quadrupled in the past
year. Kaspersky Lab released a study which revealed that in 2016, Android
ransomware infections grew 4 times the amount of previous years, increasing
from 35,413 victims in 2015 to 136,532 victims in 2016. Security researchers
stated the attacks were attributed to four Android ransomware strains including
