Honda Motor Company, Inc., issued a recall October 29 for 303,904 model year
2008 – 2009 Accord sedan vehicles after the company determined that the side
Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) software requires updating due to premature
deployment of the side and/or side curtain airbags if the ignition is on and a
door is forcefully slammed, or if the vehicle’s underbody receives significant
impact. The issue is related to the side impact deployment threshold

in Utah notified nearly 4,800 patients October 30 that they may have been
exposed to hepatitis C after a former nurse and a patient treated at the

have been exposed to hepatitis C. McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden notified
nearly 4,800 patients October 30 that they may have been exposed to hepatitis C
between June 2013 and November 2014 after the Utah Department of Health
notified the hospital that a former nurse and a patient treated at the
hospital’s emergency department were both infected with the same hepatitis
genotype. The incident is under investigation and authorities reported that the
former nurse was terminated after allegedly admitting to diverting drugs from

unattended cooking causes fire at Hampton hotel, official says. An October
30 fire at the InTown Suites in Hampton, Virginia, displaced 125 residents
after officials determined that the fire was caused by unattended cooking on a
second-floor unit’s kitchen. Two people were assessed for smoke inhalation and
the total amount of damage was unknown.

1, Softpedia – (International) Latest flash zero-day bug already part of the
Angler and Nuclear exploit kits. Researchers from Malwarebytes detected
that recent versions of the Angler and Nuclear exploit kits (EK) were actively
integrating and using a previously patched Adobe zero-day flaw that affected
several Flash versions on Windows and Linux systems which could allow
successful exploitation causing a crash and allowing the hacker to take control
of the affected system. Experts recommended that users disable Flash in
