(Colorado) U.S. Highway 36 opens today after flood repairs. The Colorado
Department of Transportation announced that repairs to U.S. Highway 36, which
was severely damaged by September floods in northern Colorado and originally
slated to be finished December 1, were completed and affected sections reopened

subsidiaries will pay $2.2 billion to settle charges that the company marketed

the man suspected of firing multiple shots and causing a lockdown at the Garden
State Plaza in Paramus November 4, dead of a self-inflicted wound. The mall was
locked down after shots were fired at the ceiling and elsewhere with a modified
gun and remained closed November 5 while authorities investigated the incident.

(Oklahoma) FCC proposes $33M in fines against cell phone companies providing
Lifeline. The U.S. Federal Communications Commission proposed $33 million
in fines, including reimbursement for fraudulent accounts, against three cell
phone companies for giving customers multiple cell phones when only allowed one
under the Lifeline program and receiving $35 a month from the government for
